We were friends
Really close friends that could tell each other anything
Or at least I thought
You told me who you liked and about your troubles at home
I told you how I felt
How I've had urges to end my life
What happened?
I tried to keep us together
I tried to talk to you and ask you how you are
You ignored me until the point where you just left
What happened to your promises?
What happened to "we will never grow apart"?
Did you forget about them?
Or did you remember how I believed you
And used the same promises on your new friend in England
I hope she knows that you're a liar
I hope she knows that you're going to end up hurting her
The same way you hurt me
I want to tell you to remember
Remember the girl who stayed up till 2 in the morning talking to you
Remember the girl who tried her hardest to understand
Remember the girl who was happy just to be alive
Because that girl hurts so much on the inside
And if she were to lose one more person
That girl might die
So behave yourself now
Don't hurt the girl in England
Don't promise her you'll be her friend forever
Because the truth is
You won't
You will leave her just like you left me
And when that happens
You'll have to remember that girl too
And she could end up just like me
